About Myself

I grew up in the remote town of Healy, AK where I enjoyed snowboarding, skateboarding, and dirt biking. When I wasn’t outside, I was playing video games. It didn’t take long for me to realize that all my hobbies had one thing in common - the art of motion. I soon began to explore other forms of movement, like simple stop motion videos or hand-painted animations on primitive Macintosh computers.

My passion soon turned into a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Phoenix, AZ. After graduating, I landed my first animation job at Design Works Gaming Studio in Scottsdale, AZ. There, I spent two years animating for large casino companies like Konami, IGT, and Novamatic. When time permitted, I would also freelance animate through Creativello in Seattle, WA, which included companies like Microsoft, Boston Scientific, and even The United Nations.

After Design Works Gaming, I was offered a job at Grumpyface Studios in Phoenix, AZ where I thrived for eight years. I advanced my skills in modeling, rigging, animation, and implementation to Unity’s game engine. At Grumpyface, I worked on exclusive games for Adult Swim and Cartoon Network, which are featured on the following platforms: iOS, Android, Apple TV, PlayStation 4, XBOX One, Steam, Apple Arcade, and Nintendo Switch.

There are still many personal projects I’d like to accomplish, but I also value the importance of teamwork. Artistic collaboration can be such a rewarding experience and having spent 10 years in the animation industry, I feel confident my skillset can help achieve whatever task your team needs.

Thank you for viewing my work!
